Waterproofs

There's nothing worse than getting caught out by the weather - but you don't really want to be weighed down by winter clothing! Packable waterproofs stuff into a sack and can be kept in the car so that they are always there when you need them. Slip them on over your normal trousers and stay dry. An important consideration with waterproofs is whether they are breathable. Avoid cheap waterproofs as they will not allow your natural perspiration to escape - they a little bit like wearing a bin liner! Breathable waterproof trousers are comfortable and dry, inside and out.
